love lady Helen, comin to kick your ass

Here is what you may bring into the box: Disappointment, frustration, anger, overwhelm, anxiety, self-doubt, fear (of all kinds of crap) or another way of saying just some of the bulls*** we sometimes find ourselves carrying around...SO...heres what you GET to leave WITH: Courage, Esteem (cuz you didn't quit and it was hard), honor, victory, belief, renewed discipline, congruence (you are actually doing what you said you were going to do this time-changing your health and fitness) endorphins, energy...love of self! Now why do YOU workout? If you say you just want to lose 20 pounds...expand your vision a little and get with it people...there is alot more available in CrossFit than the obvious physical changes. Grow a pair, take your life back, tackle a WOD! You won't recognize that warrior in the mirror looking back at you when you do! Look for it, it'll be lookin back at you. Yes I believe! Do you?

Now Helen wants to say "hi"! She seems a tad uptight too..."What?", she says "you better bring it!"

Helen

Three rounds for time:
Run 400 meters
1 1/2 pood Kettlebell X 21 swings (or 55 pound dumbbell swing)
12 Pull-ups

Oh, and new bumper sticker, "Grow a pair, take your life back, tackle a WOD!" If that doesn't get you into the box, nothing will!

12:48Rxd (unoffical time) did my wod at the fire station gym and used a 55lb dumbell (which is a pain to hold) and had to do my running on a treadmill which ate up bunch of time restarting it everytime... overall, was a good quick workout, and i missed out on the L-sits, hopefully next time ill get some of that action

Everyone that took on Helen today was inspiring. A number of PRs on this one, people finishing strong instead of just gettin through it. The warmup was a tough one today so expect more L-Sits, Hangs and gymnastic work in the near future. Anytime we are lucky enough to find a weak spot we deserve the feeling associated with improving it. smile
