
Meet Kelly Starrett (aka Kstar), founder & head coach of San Fransisco CrossFit, Physical Therapist and witty speaker. We had the pleasure of listening to him speak at Filfest this past February. He had the whole place out of their seats, doing stretches and laughing at ourselves. On the 22nd he started this Mobility Wod Blog. Everyday he posts a short stretch to make you better at what we do. Suck at hip extension? He's got a stretch for that! Weak shoulders? He can help you there too! I've been following it since day one and I've become addicted. Not only does his words and video's give me a good laugh, but I get an anatomy lesson with each day; improving both the coach and athlete in me. We will be incorporating some of his stuff into our classes. Your first WOD today comes from his site. It's the prerequisite for WOD #2. Do your homework and check out "Mobility, I has it" before you pull up to class. Get ready for your dose of stretch action!
